UWI-ROYTEC /University of New Brunswick partnership at work

On Tuesday January 19, 2016 students of UWI-ROYTEC made good on the opportunity to meet and interact with International Recruitment Officer for the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Ms. Stephanie Lord. Ms. Lord travelled from UNB's home in Fredericton, Canada on a mission to highlight the exciting prospect of studying with the UNB through UWI-ROYTEC and the ease with which it can be accomplished.

The long-standing partnership between UWI-ROYTEC and UNB affords students who have pursued and successfully completed the Associate of Science Degree in Management with UWI-ROYTEC the opportunity to acquire their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Canada.

Ms. Stephanie Lord thrilled the students with her presentation which highlighted:

  • The strong global reputation of UNB
  • The large number of Trinidad & Tobago nationals who have benefitted and currently benefit from this arrangement
  • The many convenient living, studying and recreation facilities available to students
  • The breathtaking beauty and safety of campus life at UNB, and
  • The high success rate and career altitude of its graduates

A UWI-ROYTEC/UNB graduate, Scott Lee Lum was also on hand to give students a firsthand account of his student life experience at UNB.

The relationship between UWI-ROYTEC and UNB spans in excess of twenty (20) years, with students from Trinidad & Tobago (through UWI-ROYTEC) making up the highest number of the Caribbean student body. Studying at UNB is an amazing opportunity afforded by UWI-ROYTEC.
