UWI-ROYTEC's commitment to external quality and evaluation is explicit in its vision statement and managerial approaches aimed at achieving standards of quality in its programmes. In this regard, the Board of Directors and management have made variousinstitutional commitments to creating and sustaining a quality culture that assures our own self-analysis and external references in meeting national and international standards of quality. Our quality management system serves to do the following:
- communicate our quality policy and values to faculty, staff and students
- structurally provide the basis for assessment of teaching and learning, programme review, self-analysis and all aspects of academic and student life; and
- strengthen our culture of continuous improvement, planning, monitoring and evaluation.
Our partner institution, the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Fredericton, attained recognition from the ACTT in 2013 as a foreign awarding institution and remains compliant with all reporting and statutory requirements for programmes offered in Trinidad and Tobago.
