What You Can Earn

Associate of Science Degree in Management (A.S. Management)

  • Two (2) year programme
  • Awarded by UWI-ROYTEC upon completion of all year 1 and year 2 courses

Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) from the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Canada

  • Four (4) year programme
  • Locally available concentrations include but are not limited to Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management
  • Awarded by UNB upon completion of the Associate Degree and all year 3 and year 4 courses


Structure and Delivery

The programmes are offered on a Full-time and Part-time basis, and are delivered through a combination of classroom lectures, group projects, and simulations.

Entry to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree requires successful completion of the Associate of Science Degree with a minimum "C" grade in all courses and minimum 2.0 GPA.

The programme is designed to deliver a comprehensive business education emphasizing critical thinking, financial literacy, market literacy and communication skills as important learning goals. Students may choose to pursue the same course of study at the University of New Brunswick's Fredericton Campus in Canada.

Admission Requirements

Associate Degree Programme:

A minmum of five (5) CXC passes (General Proficiency) Grades I and II (Grade III accepted from June 1998 onwards) or five (5) GCE O'Level passes, Grades A, B and C (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.

Students may also be considered on the basis of their work experience, training and educational background, as deemed relevant by the UWI-ROYTEC Admissions Committee to be the equivalent of the above for the purpose of study and may be subject to an interview.

Bachelor Degree Programme:

Students who have successfully completed the UWI-ROYTEC Associate Degree Programme (66 credit hours), obtain a minimum "C" grade in all courses and maintain a GPA of 2.0, may apply to complete the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Bachelor of Business Administration programme at UWI-ROYTEC; or they may choose to pursue the same course of study at UNB's Fredericton Campus in Canada.


This Programme of Study is Recognised by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago.
