The Associate of Science Degree Programme in Management (ADM) prepares you for supervisory and middle management positions in business and government by developing the necessary knowledge, workplace competencies and real-world skills for the human and organisational aspects of management. The programme provides the analytical, creative and quantitative expertise required to utilise resources and make good business decisions. Graduates of this programme have the ability to adapt quickly to the expectations of employers and the work environment.
This programme of study is recognised by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT).
This programme of study leads to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Management (BDM)
The ADM programme covers the first two years (years 1 and 2) of undergraduate study. Graduates of this programme may progress to UWIROYTEC's Bachelor of Science Degree Management (BDM) (weblink here) programme for years 3 and 4 of undergraduate study.

Objectives and Career Paths
The ADM programme equips students to be business professionals who can apply concepts and best practices to a variety of business situations. Students develop an understanding of the fundamental management concepts, research techniques and communication skills, enabling them to work in fast-pace and diverse business environments. Graduates can look forward to a wide range of career options in small, medium and large organisations in the public and private sectors. Some of these include (based on you work experience):

Programme Structure
This programme is offered both on a full-time and part-time basis and is delivered through a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on computer lab sessions. At the end of this programme, students will be able to demonstrate the application of the knowledge and critical thinking skills to solve real-world business problems. Following the recommended programme structure allows students to complete the ADM programme as follows:
- Full-time students: One (1) year and two (2) terms
- Part-time students: Two (2) years and one (1) term
An Academic Year at UWI-ROYTEC is divided into three (3) terms.

The ADM programme offers a range of courses introducing students to accounting and finance, human resources, management, the social sciences, mathematics and languages. Students will also be required to:
- Choose between Spanish or Chinese as a foreign language option
- Choose 3 out of 10 elective courses during the programme completion period

Entry Requirements
A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, (General Proficiency) Grades I and II (Grade III accepted from June 1998 onwards) or five (5) GCE O' Level passes, Grades A, B and C or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
Applicants may also be considered on the basis of their work experience, training and educational background as deemed relevant by the UWI-ROYTEC Admissions Committee to be the equivalent of the above for the purpose of study and may be subject to an interview.
Have you completed this programme of study or hold an equivalent qualification?
Graduates of the ADM programme or persons holding an equivalent qualification may enter the Bachelor of Science Degree in Management (BDM) programme.
