The Associate of Science Degree in Information Systems Management (ADISM) provides students with the core theoretical and practical skills in the field of Information Systems Management.
The programme combines a range of Information Technology (IT) disciplines including information systems, programming, database systems, web design, hardware and networking with the business skills needed to prepare for a career in the IT industry.
This programme of study is recognised by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT).
This programme of study leads to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management (BISM)
- The ADISM programme covers the first two years (years 1 and 2) of undergraduate study.
- Graduates of the ADISM programme may progress to UWI-ROYTEC's Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management (BISM) programme for years 3 and 4 of undergraduate study.

The ADISM programme equips students to be information technology professionals with transferable skills who can apply concepts and best practices to a variety of business situations. Programme Structure
This programme is offered both on a full-time and part-time basis and is delivered through a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on computer lab sessions. A final capstone project allows students to demonstrate real-world application of the knowledge and skills during study.
Following the standard programme structure, completion time for the ADISM programme is as follows:
- Full-time students: Two (2) years
- Part-time students: Two (2) years and one (1) term

Entry Requirements
A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, (General Proficiency) Grades I and II (Grade III accepted from June 1998 onwards) or five (5) GCE O' Level passes, Grades A, B and C or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
Applicants may also be considered on the basis of their work experience, training and educational background as deemed relevant by the UWI-ROYTEC Admissions Committee to be the equivalent of the above for the purpose of study and may be subject to an interview.

Graduates of the ADISM programme or persons holding an equivalent qualification may enter the Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management (BISM) programme.
