Caribbean Bottlers Trinidad and Tobago, The Coca-Cola Company and UWI-ROYTEC Celebrate 400 Graduates from
Growing Together Small Business Training Programme
February 21, 2024 – Caribbean Bottlers Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. (CBTTL) and The Coca-Cola Company, in partnership with UWI-ROYTEC, announced the graduation of 400 businesses from the Growing Together Small Business Training Programme, an innovative economic empowerment initiative focused on the continuing growth and sustainability of traditional trade businesses in Trinidad and Tobago. An ongoing programme, Growing Together was developed by The Coca-Cola Company for small business enterprises, a crucial economic engine for generations of families across Trinidad and Tobago, and across the global system.
The T&T initiative is a curriculum-based training programme being made available to local merchants in partnership with UWI/ROYTEC. The programme is offered through weekly virtual – tutor-led sessions maximizing flexibility for these business owners and will include state-of-the-art management topics such as Entrepreneurship, Small Business Finance, Customer Service, and Innovation. This week, participants were awarded a business completion certificate from UWI/ROYTEC, an institution with an outstanding history of helping companies and individuals achieve transformative results through its training programmes.
