The Coca-Cola Company and Caribbean Bottlers Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. (CBTTL), in partnership with UWI-ROYTEC, are pleased to offer the 2024 Growing Together Small Business Training Programme.
This training programme is available to customers of CBTTL and budding Entrepreneurs. This programme is being offered by the Coca-Cola system as part of their initiatives to support the growth and strengthening of small businesses. The Growing Together Small Business Training programme provides training and resources on business ownership and management that will hopefully guide future decisions and support economic growth for your business.
Some areas to be covered in this programme include:
- Small Business Ownership and Enhancing My Business Through Customer Service
- Small Business Finances
- Attracting Customers, Generating Value for My Business and Innovation
- Refreshing the World and Making a Difference (self-paced)
The business environment has changed for all of us and the training programme focuses on key areas that impact businesses and create opportunities for sustained growth in 2024 and into the future.
The programme will be delivered through the Zoom platform over three (3) live sessions. There will also be one (1) self-paced session that will be disseminated via email to participants who meet the attendance criteria.
You can choose from one of the following options:
Option 1- Mornings: 9:30am – 11:30am
Option 2- Afternoons: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Sessions are currently ongoing and are being held over two (2) weeks of the respective month.
Participants are required to attend all three (3) live sessions for at least ninety (90) minutes per session in order to qualify for certification and be eligible to graduate
Participants completing all modules will be eligible to win free 20 0z Coca Cola product for up to one (1) year!

Module 1 - Small Business Ownership and Enhancing My Business Through Customer Service
Overview
The economic impact of COVID-19 continues to take its toll on individuals and businesses of all sizes especially within the small and medium sector.
In a highly competitive and commoditized business market characterized by ever increasing customer expectations, the quality of customer service becomes a critical differentiator.
This workshop aims to equip participants with the insights and skills to consistently deliver excellent customer service.

Module 2 - Small Business Finances
Overview
This module is specifically designed to provide small business owners with an understanding of the basic concepts, principles, procedures, and techniques underlying basic financial information for managers and internal users. Key decision areas would be to assess the company's economic data to manage finances. The module will provide SMEs with the comprehensive understanding, that allows them to utilize accounting data to make decisions, related to the business' performance.

Module 3 - Attracting Customers and Generating Value for my Business
Overview
Having an idea is not enough, and that is where many entrepreneurs get stuck. This workshop will show entrepreneurs how to simplify their business into nine (9) important compartments and develop a simple tangible go-to-market strategy. They will learn everything from business planning essentials to the most used business strategies in sales, marketing and developing strategic partnerships.

Module 4 - Refreshing the World and Making a Difference
Overview
People are at the centre of everything we do at the Coca-Cola Company. We believe that each one of us can make a difference in the communities we live and work in. This module will focus on how community involvement can bring about positive, measurable change to the communities in which local vendors operate and the resulting impact on their business. It is self-paced learning module. All resources will be provided by CBTT and packaged as a toolkit which participants can access via MS Teams.
